Panicum Virgatum is a tall, stiff, ornamental grass that possesses a pinkish tint. In the summer, the plant produces delicate, pink flower panicles. These panicles turn beige in color in the fall and eventually provide seeds for birds in the winter. Panicum Virgatum tolerates a variety of soils but is best grown in moist soils with full sun exposure. It can be a great addition to a perennial border.
