New Jersey Tea

New Jersey Tea

Ceanothus Americanus

During June and July this low-growing, rounded shrub is a cloud of white flowers; for best effect – use it in masses, as a tall ground cover or on steep slopes.  While the flowers are remarkable on their own, New Jersey Tea is a nectar source, as well as a caterpillar and larva host, attracting an array of beautiful butterflies.
