Early Meadow Rue

Thalictrum Dioicum

Early Meadow Rue is a shade garden plant that is a wonderful addition to any garden after the early spring woodland flowers go dormant. Its delicate green fern-like foliage is present from spring through fall. The greenish-yellow flowers look like little tassels and bloom in early spring when the leaves have not quite opened and the canopy of the trees above is not yet shading the woodland floor.
