Common Lake Sedge

Common Lake Sedge

Carex Lacustris

Common Lake sedge is rhizomatous.  That means that it can spread aggressively and therefor may not be suitable for small landscape plantings, but can be a wonderful wetland restoration sedge. It grows best during the spring and fall when it is cool outside.
